Long Time No See

We're Back...

Well, we didn't really go anywhere, but my Christmas break that, although it was a vacation, it was very busy. Now school is back in(for kids and me) and I finally get around to blogging. I will add more pics later, but we bought a new camera and the downloading process is not as easy as with our old one. Enjoy!

Well, it finally stopped snowing this afternoon, about 30 hours straight. We couldn't get in our driveway so i had to park at the grocery store up the street. We all hiked out and went to Mom and Dad's cause Ruthie is here and we'll stay the night.

Lisa's folks sent us some fresh Alaska shrimp, so that's what were having tonight. (Shaun, quit droolin'). Oh yes, the joys of marrying an Alaska girl (she's pretty nice too).

School's out for summer....

Well, I guess only for winter break. So fittingly, my first day of winter break brought a frozen deluge of the white stuff. I took the kids out for a couple hours this afternoon. It sure is nice to not have to worry about homework for a while.

Trip down Memory Lane

Next week, Reagan will turn 7. Seven short years ago, he spent a month in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit here in town. Much has changed in that time including a life-changing work accident, a nearly completed 5 year journey to my nursing degree and most importantly a little sister who started kindergarten this past fall.

Today, I had the opportunity to go back to the very same NICU for a clinical rotation. It was great to talk to some of the same nurses who cared for Reagan and made a profound impact on our lives.
We are forever grateful for their care and compassion.
